On some ceremonies, that’s me. On others, it’s one of the officiants I’ve brought on. But here’s what doesn’t change: every Wildstar ceremony is written by me, personally, from scratch, no matter who delivers it. I hand-picked my team so we could say yes to more couples and more dates, including the weekday ceremonies I used to have to turn away. You’ll know who your officiant is well ahead of time, and you’ll meet them before the wedding to make sure the fit feels right. The writing is always mine. That’s what makes it sound like you.
As soon as you have your date! Most couples book one to three months in advance, but I’ll always do my best to accommodate short-notice elopements and weekday ceremonies.
It’s not required, but I love connecting beforehand, whether in person, over the phone, or through email. It helps me understand your story and the tone you want for your ceremony.
Absolutely. Many couples want to say something personal but don’t know where to start. I offer gentle guidance and vow coaching if you’d like a little help finding the right words.

Yes, if you’d like. Rehearsal attendance is available as an add-on and helps everyone feel comfortable before the big day.
Yes! Vow renewals are some of my favorite ceremonies to officiate. There’s something powerful about a couple choosing each other all over again. I offer both simple and fully personalized ceremonies.
Life happens. If your date changes, I’ll do everything I can to adjust and honor your new plans. Deposits can be applied to your rescheduled date, depending on availability.
Yes. You’ll need to apply for and receive your marriage license before the wedding day. I can’t perform the ceremony without it.
You can apply at any Texas county clerk’s office. Both parties must be present with valid photo ID.
Your Texas marriage license is valid for 90 days after it’s issued.
There’s a 72-hour waiting period between receiving your license and your ceremony. (Active military and certain couples can have this waived.)
Bring your marriage license, valid photo ID, and any items for rituals or readings. Your officiant takes care of the rest.
Yes. Your officiant signs and completes it at the ceremony, and it’s returned to the county clerk’s office for official recording.
Once filed, most counties mail your certified marriage certificate within 2–4 weeks. You can also request copies directly from the clerk’s office later.
Yes, I’m a commissioned Texas notary and can notarize related documents such as premarital or name change forms.
Yes, and I encourage it! You’ll have the option to review and adjust your ceremony script until it feels completely like “you.”
Absolutely. Whether it’s boho, vintage, starlit, or simple and modern, I’ll adapt to your theme with joy.
Yes! Many couples like to involve loved ones through readings, blessings, or unity rituals.
I can include brief phrases or passages in another language if provided, and I’m happy to collaborate with bilingual readers or translators to make your ceremony inclusive.
Your officiant is happy to coordinate their attire with your color palette or aesthetic. Whether classic, natural, or formal, their look will complement your day.
We don’t currently provide sound equipment, but your officiant can easily coordinate with your DJ, planner, or venue team to make sure their voice carries clearly.
Your officiant typically arrives 20–30 minutes early to check in, review details, and make sure everything runs smoothly.
Don’t worry, weddings have their own rhythm. Your officiant will stay flexible and calm, as long as the delay doesn’t overlap with another booking.
If you’re planning an outdoor wedding, we’ll discuss a backup plan ahead of time so there’s no stress on the day of.
Yes! We serve the greater Hill Country area and beyond. Travel fees vary depending on distance, and we’re always open to a beautiful drive for a beautiful day.
Travel within New Braunfels is included. Beyond that, it’s $1 per mile (round trip) after the first 30 miles.
I accept cash, credit card, Zelle, Venmo, and Apple Pay. A 50% deposit is due at booking, and the remainder can be paid anytime up to one week before your ceremony.
Yes. Couples who choose a personalized ceremony will receive a printed keepsake version of their script to treasure and revisit.
Once your license is filed, you can request certified copies from the county clerk’s office where it was recorded. Many counties also offer online requests.
Yes. I can provide a signed officiant letter confirming your ceremony and filing date if your name-change paperwork requires it.
