- Wedding details (date, location, ceremony preferences)
- Payment information (processed securely through third-party providers such as Square, Venmo, Zelle, or similar)
- Any other information you choose to share
How Your Information Is Used
Your information may be used to:
- Respond to messages or inquiries
- Schedule and coordinate wedding services
- Prepare ceremony materials and contracts
- Process payments
- Improve website functionality
- Maintain business records as required by Texas law
We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes; however, we may use trusted third-party services to process payments, manage scheduling, or host our website. These providers have their own privacy policies. We also share the details needed to plan and perform your ceremony with the Wildstar officiant assigned to your wedding. Officiants are expected to keep your information confidential and use it only to prepare for and conduct your ceremony.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe. However, no website or electronic storage is 100% secure. We do not keep any financial data (credit cards, bank info, etc.).
Your Rights
You may request:
- A copy of the information we have about you
- Corrections to your information
- Deletion of your information (except what we must keep for legal or payment-record purposes)
Terms of Service
These terms outline the agreement between Wildstar Weddings (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and the client (“you”).
Services Provided
We provide wedding officiating, elopement ceremonies, vow coaching, and related services as listed on our website or in your quote.
Booking & Payments
- A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date.
- Remaining balance is due one week before the ceremony unless otherwise agreed.
- Payments may be made by card, Zelle, Venmo, cash, or Apple Pay.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Retainers are non-refundable.
- If you need to reschedule, we will make every effort to accommodate your new date. Your retainer can be applied to the new date, subject to availability.
- Wildstar Weddings works with a team of officiants. If the officiant assigned to your ceremony becomes unavailable due to illness, emergency, or other circumstances, we will arrange for another qualified Wildstar officiant to perform your ceremony whenever possible. Because your ceremony is written in advance, a replacement officiant delivers the same ceremony prepared for you, with no change to your day.
- If no qualified officiant is available to perform your ceremony, we will give you as much notice as possible, help you find a suitable replacement, and issue a full refund of all payments made.
Arrivals & Delays
- Your officiant will arrive early to the ceremony unless otherwise communicated.
- Excessive delays (beyond 30 minutes) may incur additional fees.
Legal Requirements
- You are responsible for obtaining a valid Texas marriage license.
- Your officiant will complete and file the license after the ceremony in accordance with Texas law.
Liability
Wildstar Weddings is not responsible for: weather conditions, venue issues, photographer delays, guest behavior, or acts outside our control. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for officiating services.
Creative Materials
Ceremony scripts, vows, and materials created for your event remain copyrighted by Wildstar Weddings. You are welcome to share, reprint, or display them for personal and sentimental use. Commercial use or resale is not permitted.
Photos & Testimonials
With your consent, we may request to use photos or testimonials for marketing. You may decline at any time.
